It was fun while it lasted. From 1997 through 2006, the Duke Blue Devils advanced to the Sweet 16 every single year. During that time, they also made three trips to the Final Four and even captured a national championship in 2001.Today they lost to the West Virginia Mountaineers by a score of 73-67. This now marks a two-year drought, after getting knocked out in the first round last year.
